Terms of Service

Effective: January 1, 2026 · Doorstop, Inc.

Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Claire (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Doorstop, Inc.

What Claire is — and isn’t

Claire is a life companion who helps you understand documents and situations, prepare for appointments, and navigate adult life. She is not a lawyer, doctor, or financial advisor. Nothing she says constitutes legal advice, medical advice, or financial advice.

Claire is here to explain, translate, and help you navigate. For high-stakes decisions, she helps you find and prepare to work with the right professional. The guidance she provides is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional advice.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other people
  • Generate content designed to deceive others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying AI models
  • Share access to your account with others
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent

Your content

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Claire’s responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should not rely solely on Claire for decisions that have significant legal, medical, financial, or other consequences. Always verify important information with qualified professionals.
